Club Rules

Initiation fee $100 - A one time fee associated with processing your membership application (Please note: At the time of application, an additional $100 is to be provided to pay for aircraft usage associated with your introductory flight. This fee is added to your club account as a credit and any unused portion will be applied towards furture flying. This is the only time you need to pay for flying in advance.)

Equity share $3,500 - Purchases a share of the aircraft owned by the club. Your equity is fully refundable to you if you leave the club (For a summary of the club philosophy regarding aircraft financing and equity charges, see the FAQ.)

Monthly dues $120- (current as of   4/2008 ) Covers the fixed costs of aircraft ownership, such as insurance, hangar rental, annual inspections, licenses, etc. There is a $7 credit for attendance at the monthly meeting, to encourage participation.

Hourly flight charges - Aircraft usage charges determined from actual flight time only - there are no daily or weekly minimum charges. All rental rates are "wet" (i.e. include fuel) and you can be reimbursed for fuel purchased off-field. Time is based on Tach (engine tachometer) time, which is typically 10 to 15% lower than the Hobbs meter (electical) time charged for aircraft rentals elsewhere. The present hourly charges for each aircraft are:
Member Flying costs per tach hour

1113U Archer II $97
419W Archer III $105
5337S Archer III $110
4339L Saratoga $160

*Costs current as of Febuary 2005 but may no longer be current. Contact the club for updated information.
